Use the appropriate QR code and password to share with your patients. Do not share the QRs and passwords with colleagues – they must access the site via the membership option. This helps me monitor usage of these worsening advice cards so that I know if they are worthwhile and if I should continue making them. It also makes it easier to ensure that everyone is accessing the same version and content is not out of date.
I’ll soon be working on accreditation for these cards. In the meantime, please use these as an adjunct to good paperwork – keep your paperwork thorough and add a note that you have provided your patient with a worsening advice card.
